“What exercises in The Bladder Cure program should I focus on to stop urge or OAB?”

To gain control of urge incontinence or overactive bladder (OAB) there are a couple things to focus on when retraining your pelvic floor muscles:

  1. Quick Contractions – of the pelvic floor so you can activate to stop the urge.
  2. Endurance Training – for your bladder, to increase the holding power of your bladder muscle.
  3. Relaxation / Meditation – general relaxation of your nervous system will also calm the bladder muscle.  A simple technique is included in The Bladder Cure program.
  4. Eliminate Bladder Irritants – figure out what foods irritate your bladder.

The long contractions are important for general pelvic floor muscle strength, so keep doing these too!
